Aesthetics Complications
Our Complications course has been created for anybody working in the healthcare and aesthetics industry. It is a 1/2 day course that will cover a wide range of possible adverse effects from aesthetic treatments and substances.
Our Complications course is taught by a qualified medic.
Drawing on real-life case studies, you'll discover a wide range of possible adverse effects that can occur during aesthetic treatments. From minor complications through to worrying, moderate, serious, and major - we'll cover everything that could go wrong and show you how to deal with it.
The course will also teach you how often you can expect to see these complications whilst you treat your clients. From common, occasional, infrequent, rare and very rare you'll be prepared to handle any situation.
You'll learn to spot the key symptoms and be armed with the best advice on treatment and prevention. Y
COURSE CONTENTS:
You'll work through case studies and shared experiences with your tutor to confidently assess and deal with adverse effects.
During your tuition, you'll learn about, and study examples of delayed onset nodules, vascular occlusions, and necrosis. You'll study through swelling and minor bruising to uneven lips, granuloma nodule formation, deep bruising, the Tyndall Effect and much more.
The course also includes anaphylaxis training, the management of sharps injuries or splash incidents, and the reporting procedures for adverse effects.
You'll also get expert advice on product selection.
